British singer-songwriter & producer Joseph Reuben is no newcomer to the music industry. At age 18, Reuben left behind an Ultra-orthodox jewish upbringing in London for a cramped apartment in New York City to pursue a career in music. The young artist quickly built a following, gaining international acclaim for his evocative cover of Robyn’s “Call Your Girlfriend.”

But at 23, Reuben underwent three invasive vocal-cord surgeries and was told he may never sing again. Unable to use his voice, Reuben shifted gears, spending his twenties building a reputation as an award-winning composer for film & TV, founding music production company Cinemax Studios.

Now, after years of extensive vocal training and speech therapy, Reuben has finally got his voice back and is back in the spotlight. Against all odds, he will be releasing his debut solo album in the fall of 2021. “Reuben’s solo material is an exquisitely-crafted portrait of heartache and resilience. His songs have a filmic touch -- cinematic and sweeping -- while his voice drips with nostalgia and blues.”
